The challenge: Meet customers' needs with a new app that fits performance and budget requirements

Driven by his years of experience in the restaurant industry, Schedulefly founder Weston Aiken knew that restaurants and other hospitality businesses needed an easier scheduling solution. His website, built and maintained by a dedicated team of five, has provided that answer for thousands of clients over the last sixteen years.

But with the fast pace of an increasingly mobile world, Aiken knew he had to meet his customers on their preferred ground. Over 90% of Schedulefly’s 225,000 users were doing everything they needed on their phones — so it was time to give them a mobile app. However, Aiken was hesitant to develop an app in-house knowing such a project would be prohibitively costly and consume resources better allocated to investing in new features and growth.
